GM Exterior Door Handle 15034985 for Yukon, Silverado, Tahoe, Escalade 1999-2006

This GM exterior door handle matches OE 15034985 and 15034986, used on the 1999-2007 GM full-size trucks and SUVs. The plastic outside handles on these trucks become brittle and snap, especially in cold weather. This replacement bolts in where the old one was.

Check the photos for the position and whether the handle has a key hole, and compare with your door before ordering.

Fitting

The door panel comes off to reach the handle nuts. Take a photo of the rod clips first, transfer the lock cylinder if your handle has one, then test the handle and lock before refitting the panel. For how door handles connect to the latch, see the central locking article on Wikipedia.
