This Ford F-150 alternator is a new 150 amp, 12 volt alternator for the 2009-2010 Ford F-150 V8, the Ford Expedition and the Lincoln Navigator. Replace it when the battery light comes on, the battery keeps going flat or the old unit is noisy.

Fitting

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the intake hose, mass air flow sensor and air filter housing.
3. Release the belt tensioner and take the belt off the pulley.
4. Unplug and unbolt the old alternator.
5. Clean the mounting area.
6. Fit the new alternator, refit the bolts and reconnect the wiring.
7. Refit the belt, the intake parts and the mass air flow sensor.
8. Reconnect the battery and check the charging voltage.
