3.6L Pentastar A/C Compressor with Clutch, Grand Cherokee, Durango, Charger, Challenger, 300

This 3.6L Pentastar A/C compressor comes with the clutch fitted and is pre-filled with PAG 46 oil. It fits the 2011-2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango, Charger and Challenger, and the Chrysler 300 with the 3.6L V6. A noisy compressor, a clutch that will not engage, or warm air from the vents are the usual signs it has failed.

Fitting

The refrigerant must be recovered by a professional before the old compressor comes off. Replace the receiver drier or accumulator and the expansion valve, flush the lines if the old compressor failed internally, check the oil quantity, then vacuum and recharge to the correct amount.
